Given the inability to acquire these tasty morsels in
San Francisco, we began this project out of selfish want.
Not long after relocating to the bay area from Atlanta, Ga. and Charleston, SC, did we discover that If we wanted to enjoy the savory snack in the way we'd grown accustom, we'd have to make our own. We also knew that the only thing better than devouring a batch by yourself, is sharing your nuts with your friends, so we took the necessary steps to produce and distribute our first west coast batch on
July 4, 2009. Since then, Dee's Nuts has continually found steadfast converts with each foray into the unsuspecting public. It is our ongoing goal to familiarize those unfamiliar, and provide the starved enthusiast with the delicacy of the boiled peanut.
